凱焱鐵板燒創辦人蔡先生從事國際外銷事業,，遍訪國內外各地精緻料理餐廳，在台灣也招待過數十國的客戶。客戶訪台時不斷指定鐵板燒料理，也藉由這樣讓本身對料理有興趣的蔡先生不斷鑽研鐵板燒料理及研究各式食材，讓他領悟出「美食」的真理，他決定創辦凱焱鐵板燒讓國人享受鐵板燒料理的全新境界，並將頂級的鐵板燒料理價格合理化, 不再高不可攀, 於是在 2012年創辦了凱焱鐵板燒。
Restaurant owner, Mr. Tsai, runs a successful international export business and has traveled extensively, sampling top cuisines around the globe. In addition, he has hosted clients from all over the world with the majority showing a particular interest in Teppanyaki. This became the driving force for Mr. Tsai to take on an interest in culinary appreciation and continue to research the art and various ingredients of Teppanyaki. Having acquired a sophisticated palette and the understanding of the true meaning of 'delicacy', Mr. Tsai established Kai-Yen in 2012. His vision is to provide a top quality Teppanyaki dining experience with an affordable price tag.
